Sunday 24th July marks an historic day for UK Kpop fans as Kpopteam introduces the first kpop act to arrive in London to perform. For many of the kpop record companies, the UK market has been a big mystery and an even bigger unknown. In the past there have been many attempts to convince the kpop music industry that there is a market in the UK.
Such fan events like the KCC event promoted by Kpopteam and the YG Entertainment flashmob in Trafalgar Square which was bound to turn some heads. Both events being broadcasted in Korea by MBC. More events are to come from Kpopteam leading the way with kpop entertainment in the UK.
Dok2 performed a short set at the Coronet Theatre to some of his followers in the UK. This is essentially a stepping stone to more kpop artists coming to the UK. There are various fan videos that are already uploaded onto Youtube just after the event attracting masses of views and comments. Officially pictures and videos are set to go live in the next couple of days.
